Undergraduate courses MATH1110 - Probability and Statistics, Tulane University, Department of Mathematics, 2024

I served as an Instructor for MATH1110 during the summer course 2024. My responsibilities included developing course materials and provided instruction both in and out of Instructure’s Canvas LMS, integrated external tool WebAssign into Canvas LMS, delivering lectures, clarifying statistical concepts, guiding practical implementation, leading problem-solving sessions, grading assignments, and providing individualized support to students to enhance their understanding of course material.

Undergraduate courses MATH1110 - Probability and Statistics, Tulane University, Department of Mathematics, 2022

I served as a Teaching Assistant for MATH1110 for over two semesters, during which I taught two classes per semester (Fall 2021, Spring 2022). In this course, my instructions involve clarifying probability and statistical concepts, guiding practical implementation. The course covers: Elementary probability theory and statistics with applications; random variables; distributions including a thorough discussion of the binomial, Poisson, and normal distributions; central limit theorem; histograms; sampling distributions; confidence intervals; tests of hypotheses; linear models; regression.

I served as a Teaching Assistant for MATH1230 for over six semesters, during which I taught 10 classes (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Summer 2021, Summer 2022). Students came from diverse backgrounds, including mathematics, chemistry, economics, physics, computer science, biology, and psychology. My responsibilities included delivering lectures, clarifying statistical concepts, guiding practical implementation, leading problem-solving sessions, grading assignments, and providing individualized support to help students enhance their understanding of the course material.

I taught this course to undergraduate students majoring in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Economics over five semesters (Fall 2017, Spring 2018, Fall 2018, Spring 2019, Fall 2019). These courses provided students with statistical knowledge (popular distributions, the central limit theorem, parameter estimates, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and linear regressions) and the application of real datasets customized according to the learners’ majors. In the lab, students learned how to use R programming. Students presented their projects at the end of the course, applying the tools provided during the course lectures.

I taught three calculus courses to undergraduate students majoring in Mathematics in three semesters (Fall 2017, Spring 2018, and Fall 2018). These courses provided students with core mathematical knowledge: limits, derivatives, integrals, and infinite series.
